What is a Hostess?
As a Red Beans Hostess, you will recieve a trunk of precious clothes to show at a party at your home. These are sample pieces of the entire line for the season. You will display the samples in your home and take custom orders for the pieces. You will sign up for a party date and invite your friends to attend. Based on the sales, you will recieve Hostess credits to use as explained below.
What is a Representative?
As a Red Beans Representative, you will be a Hostess for your own party, as described above, but will also take on additional responsibilities for added incentives. Your added responsibility will be to recruit additional shows in your area by signing up additional Hostesses, as explained below.
Responsibilities of a Hostess:
-Invite your friends and family, and anyone else you would like, to attend your show. You will be asked to provide us with your mailing list and we will send out the catalog invitations to your show. We ask that you send a minimum of 30 invitations to host a party.
-When the trunk arrives to your home we ask that you review the "Cookbook" to become knowledgeable about the line prior to your show. All you have to do is call and we will explain.
-You will set up and present the clothing at your home. The "Cookbook" will give you great ideas on how to best display the clothing.
-We ask that you take special care of the clothing. Each trunk will visit many different parties and we want the clothes to look as great at the last party as they did at the first. We ask that you iron clothing as necessary before sending it to the next show.
-You will be responsible for collecting money from your orders and filling out the order forms that are provided correctly and neatly.
-Upon completion of the show, you will be asked to fill out a Hostess Tally Form. This form is a summary sheet of all orders and will be explained in the "Cookbook".
-We ask that you mail all orders to Red Beans immediately after your show. Remember that your customers, and you, will recieve their clothes sooner if this step is not delayed.
-Prepare clothing for shipping by placing them back in their original clear bags and on hangers and review the trunk inventory list that will be provided in the "Cookbook". We will schedule UPS to come to your home to retrieve the trunk. UPS will have the address of the next show, so all you need to do is tape up the box!
Responsibilities of a Representative:
-Same as above Hostess with the addition of:
As a Representative you are asked to actively find and promote as many parties in your area as possible. We ask that you have a minimum of 2 parties in addition to your own. You will be acting as a Hostess for your own party and as a Representative for any additional parties outside of your home. For the additional shows your requirements are the same as above, only you are asked to coordinate with the Hostess on a time for the party and you are responsible for assisting the hostess in all ways. You will help to set up the party, remain at the party in its entirety, dismantile and repack the clothing and take the trunk home with you.
